Lindsey Winstead was my (very generous) Secret Santa. Lindsey sent the following homebrew: Saison, Belgian Wit, Coconut Porter, and Pumpkin Pie spice Cider. Seeing that Santa lives in North Carolina, I also scored two great North Carolina IPAs... Foothills Hoppyum (which I've never had but always wanted to try) and French Broad IPA (which is from one of my favorite Asheville breweries). Finally, this all came secure in a fun "Let it Snow" bag (seen in the background on the photo).
Thank you so much, Lindsey. The labels are great, and I look forward to busting some of these open after they've rested in the fridge for a few days! I'll take your advice and let the porter and cider sit for a bit, but I'll post my thoughts on the others soon...

I had a lot of Santas this year... Though Black Friday was BCBS day for most areas, today was the first BCBS day in TN. I wasn't able to go out and sit in line to get the 9am release, but mid-morning I was handed a 12oz bottle of the Coffee Stout variant from a co-worker/homebrew friend. Then, after work I stopped at Red Dog, where I was picking up bubbly and Irish creme for the misses, and the beer buyer came up to me and, much to my surprise, he had held me back a bomber each of Halia and Juliet (they sold out in maybe 15 minutes of all of the Goose Island bombers and BCBS variants in the sale this morning). Then, upon arriving home, I was surprised by another beer shipment from another Secret Santa! Santa Cruz Ale Works stout, Firestone DBA, Lagunitas Censored, and a Blue Moon clone homebrew.
I have some very thoughtful and generous friends...

Score big time! Aaron (astrobeerman) sent me tons of beer, cookies, cigars and jerky. And, besides lots of beers I've never tried before, there's a Racer 5 in there! What a treat.
Thanks much Aaron. Might take a long while to drink all these but I'm up for the challenge.

Good deal Beer-lord, Aaron is very generous and a all around nice guy. Was my SS last year.
You'll really like the Hopadillo it was the best beer I've ever had from a can. Sailing Santa is great also.
