I will drain that glass again.

I am drinking ale today."

Variety pak from Lancaster brewery. Pale Ale was decent. Strawberry wheat was ok, not a winter beer and Im sure its good in the summer, the hop hog ipa is yummy and havent tried the milk stout yet.
Re: What are you drinking?
It's a Yazoo kinda night...
Hap and Harry's... Yazoo's pale lager. Sue me. I really dig this. Looks like a Bud, but has a nice bready malt and hop bite that makes it interesting. 70% pilsner malt, 26% Vienna malt, and 4% Biscuit malt. Pearle on the bitter and Saaz on the finish. WLP833 German lager yeast (I think... I'm pretty sure, but it may be a different lager yeast, but I know that this one was at least considered). 5.5%abv, 15ish IBU. Very nice...
Gerst Amber... Likely my overall favorite Yazoo, though I have several favorites. It's certainly the one I've checked into most. 50% 2 row, 30% Vienna malt, 13% Cara 20L, 7% flaked corn. Pearle on the bitter, Tettnang on the flavor and aroma additions. WY1968. 5ish%abv, 11ish IBU. Also very nice...

Re: What are you drinking?
Just opened the first White House Honey Porter. I LIKE this. Very nice. This I will make again!
Tasted the White House Honey Ale yesterday when I cold crashed it. Not as interesting, wonder how it will taste after it's carbonated and conditioned. Bottling that perhaps this weekend, then need to brew my Moosedrool refill, and figure out what's next on the horizon for brewing in late February - likely one of the few Mr. Beer refills left on my shelf.

I just opened Stone's Matt's Burning Rosids.
As someone who isn't a huge fan of saisons I must say this is an interesting beer. I can't say I like it but the way the flavors play is different than any beer I have had before.

Re: What are you drinking?
A whole bunch of great local brews from Yazoo, Calfkiller, Jackalope, Blackstone, TN Brew Works, Black Abbey, Turtle Anarchy, Mayday and likely others that I'm not acknowledging. At the "Fix the Beer Cap" rally. TN has the lowest beer cap of any state in the southeast. Anything above 5.0%ABW (6.2%ish ABV) is considered a liquor and has to be sold at the wine/liquor store (most of which don't really maintain a craft brew selection). TN Craft Brew Alliance is trying to change that so that our local breweries can better sell their product, and so out of state breweries will be more inclined to distribute here. Click here for more info on our efforts...

Re: What are you drinking?
Had one of my Cream Stouts that was bottled 1/3/14 it was good but will be better in a few more weeks. Have brewed this one before and like all stouts it gets better with age. Also snuck in a Cream Ale that I bottled the 18th and I know it was young but wanted to try one, but good also and in a couple more weeks will be just right............Now finishing off my night with a Southern Tier Old Man, A good winter Ale.

And one more, Southern tier Eurotrash Pilz. Wish I could clone this one. I'm close but it has to be a lager, its a very clean European beer, easy to drink just the right amount of hops and malt, but a clean finish

Re: What are you drinking?
I just cracked open an Enjoy By 02.14.14. This batch retains the same smell as the last batch I had but the alcohol flavor I detected in the last batch is completely covered by the hop flavor in tue new batch.
