With about 2 weeks left in FedoraDave's signups, I want to bump this up in visibility. I'm in again, since all 3 RCEs that I have done so far have been a lot of fun, gaining experience each time through this collaboration with fellow brewers. I understand about busy schedules, but encourage everyone who can to sign up.

I wholeheartedly agree with Foothiller.

Since BB2 is getting acclimated to the beer chemistry course and was thinking of doing some related projects and I have a ton of backed up chores from a screwed up hand we haven't signed up yet.

That being said I strongly encourage all of the new Borg members that have not participated in an RCE to join this one.

This is a great learning opportunity to be able to get with another brewer and open up a one on one discussion of all things brewing.

For our first RCE we got to learn in depth recipe design software by getting walked through step by step and this really expanded our understanding of using specialty grains and other ingredients.

Even if you are not in a hurry or comfortable moving into a different style of brewing yet there is a lot to learn.

It is a lot of fun give it try.

tempting but going to set this one out, work is about to get insane due to this cold weather snap we had here in the south, so I'm just hoping to make to spring time. Maybe next one.

Hey, the last one was a lot of fun, and I learned a ton and got some good beer out of it, but I'm right in the middle of my Saison-mania, so I am going to bow out. Thanks for running this Dave. Next time, I promise.

One more week to sign up, folks. Then I'll post a new thread with a listing of the pairings. As always, if someone with the ability to make it a sticky would do so, while obliterating this thread, I'd be much obliged.

If it is not too late I would love to hop in on this again. Got some good knowlege (and beer) out of the last one.
Technically I guess I am Level 4, but I am still stovetop brewing/BIAB for time being.
Cheers

I'll post the pairings 2/16. It'll give me something to do during the boil. ;)

what'd ya know? i'm brewing today also...
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

It is 6:05 am, Sunday, February 16. Sign-ups are closed. I will post pairings later in the day. Again, if a sticky can be made, I'd be much obliged.

Thanks to all who signed up. I hope this RCE results in some great beers being created!
