Sounds great Chris thanks for getting this started. Works been hectic and I don't get a chance to post much lately. This could be an open collaboration for any who might like to join in. That's why I added the +1.

There are now 9 bottle less after I hit them. But $11.49 a bomber correction, 750 ML (I feel better now).....jeez, I have to ask myself am I crazy with all the hoppy beer I have in my kegerator and fridge.
The wife came with me so I treated her to 3 bottles of wine and lunch. It was an expensive date!

Finally its in my mouth! And I have to drink the whole bottle myself. I'm typing this now since I may not be able to type when I finish.
First let me say it's very good. Definitely the best Louisiana brewed beer I've tasted. Looking at the early ratings, it's getting 4.5 out of 5 so that's not shabby.

Now the goods-----pours a beautiful bronze . Great head and absolutely perfectly carbed. I expected a bit more in my face aroma (notice my new glass?) There's aroma, just not the whiff that I expected.
Taste---you don't know you're drinking a DIPA at 8.5%. Absolutely a West Coast IPA. Some bitterness up front, finished with a nice hit of hops. It finishes much like Enjoy By.

My twin had yesterday off and went to the pub and had this on draft (bastard!!!) He told me to let this warm a bit and as I have, I agree, that's when this beer shines. As you're half way finished the glass, all the pieces come together.
Andrew, the owner/brewmaster said his favorite beers are Pliny/Maharaja/Heady Topper and as I've not had HT (I'd love to get my hands on one......TRADE?????) I can't say it's even with Pliny/Maharaja but I will say that it's an excellent beer. When I add that to a very small and new brewery, I am very happy because they just get it and I can't wait to continue tasting what they come up with. They definitely took a step up. This and Dr. Hoptagon are easily in my list of extremely favorite beers.

Super Bad Ass Glass Paul, great job on the etching. Sounds like a nice IIPA, good to see the local boys doing well.

Had a chance to visit Jekyll Brewing today an was given a tour by the brew master. Turns out I knew him when he worked at the LHBS. Home brewer gone brew master, good stuff. He gave me a behind the scenes tour. They had their first IIPA brewing in a 30 barrel tank. Had a huge blow off tube in a 5 gallon bucket of sanitizer, it was going off like a machine gun. Looking forward to it being in stores. Yeah, :x brewery's can't sell to the public, welcome to Georgia.

I think I'll be able to find a few.

Yes it appears so. Last time I saw Josh, he was clean shaven with short hair. We laughed when I told him "If I saw you on the street, I'd give you money for food". He had a long beard and said he hadn't had a hair cut since July. Said they brew 3 batches a day to fill one of the barrels. He followed that up with "5 days of that in a row sucks".

Thanks for calling. You just sent 3.5 more oz of hops to their death. You are not Hitler...I've given you a new nickname now. From now on, you shall be known as 'Hopler'. Deal with it!

So, you're going to change Inkleg's "Uber Brewer" to "Hopler"? That would be interesting.

I love the name. Kinda like Breaking Bad bad. I wish I could give the name to myself but I bow to to Hopler. All should hail Hopler.

Maybe we should start a poll.
