Kettle Marking
Ran across this on Kettle Marking.
I think I'm going to try and put my Naked Cat Brewery logo on the outside of my kettle. I'll post pictures when I get around to it (could be awhile though).
If anyone does it let us know how it works.

Pretty cool.
Have you seen this? Not nearly as fun and costs a few bucks.
I have seen but can't find now, a spray marking systems that I think is about $20. Might not be around anymore but I think it use to be found in hardware stores.

That is awesome! I wanna do this now.
Re: Kettle Marking
Be careful regarding corrosion. http://www.reddit.com/r/Homebrewing/com ... ss_kettle/ is a good read on how to avoid that and use the method listed in the OP...

You must post pictures when you do this!
If it is really that easy I could see putting my logo on the outside of my kegs. Just because.

Re: Kettle Marking
That's a pretty neat idea, but the "no more measuring stick!" comment kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, it's just a measuring stick, it's not a lot of heavy lifting. Yeah, it's one more thing to wash, but get over it, man.
Using this method to put your logo on your pots is a cool idea, though. I just wish I had a logo....

Re: Kettle Marking
My dowel stick worked great when I used it. Another great idea borrowed from the Hat.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I'm kinda envisioning "Fedora Dave's Brewhuose" up top.FedoraDave wrote:I just wish I had a logo....
With a picture or drawing of a fedora hanging on the wall.
Then "Come on in, take your hat off and relax a spell" on the bottom.

Well, Dag, no goatee, but I knocked around in Photoshop for about 5 minutes with some online clip art...
Re: Kettle Marking
Pretty good sparrow. We know how Dave hates to get his Hat dirty, so I guess that's why the lid on the stein isn't the hat.
Again, good job. Now, lets see what Dave thinks of it.

5 or 10 minutes on the web and Photoshop is the least I can do for Dave for all the wisdom he has imparted over the years.
It was really just kind of doodling. If Dave has something more specific in mind I might be able to whip it up.
