When the weather is like this, it's hard not to sit out and drink every night but I'm trying to be good.
Roger, that looks pretty damn nice. Great lacing.

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Very nice. Not only good-looking, but sounds like a very nice summertime refresher. What's the ABV, because that could easily become a great Ballgame Beer.

Totally off-topic, but when you click those smilies like I did, it reads "banana hammer banana hammer"
"Banana hammer" makes me laugh.

I almost always use 8.5 lbs of grain for about a 1.050 OG ... 4.5% target ... I sometimes add a half cup of sugar to get around 1.054 ... 5-5.5% with an attenuating yeast.Gymrat wrote:ABV is 4.8%

My methods, 16qt pot on an induction burner indoors ... high gravity beers are out unless I add in DME ....
I get tired of beers that are over 6% anyway. They're nice to have around, but not as a main staple. 5% is about normal for me. Some are around 4.5%.
