removing sludge from bottles
Has anyone seen or used the sedex bottling cap? Saw it on a youtube video and was directed sedexbrewing.com. Don't know if i'll get it but something to consider.

Google it. Unflattering reviews.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Re: removing sludge from bottles
I've seen them and at least one person on the old MrB boards bought them and loved them.
I don't bottle much anymore but I've never minded the trub at the bottom of the bottle. It's a function of homebrew IMO and adds to the charm.
That being said, I've actually heard good things about them if you can stomach the cost.

After thinking it over, feel the Knuckle bumps on head (from SWMBO) will not justify cost of product.

Really not needed. I have found that after a couple weeks, 3 is better, the bottle trub pretty much locks up on the bottom. IMHO
