Now with my travel schedule being in a lull and work hours lessened I've been thinking more about what to brew, especially with the harvesting of my hops a few weeks ago. I've been trying to figure out what I should brew using these hops and really show off the characteristic of these Nugget hops. Then as I was reading the blog from my local brewery the mentioned that they had a limited edition Single Malt, Single Hop IPA that they had produced using Liberty hops, and it hit me that a SMaSH brew would be a simple way for me to really see how my nugget hops tasted and smelled. I did a little research and decided on the following recipe. The only thing that I am still undecided about is what yeast to use. My first thought was to go with just a simple Safale American US-05, but then I was wondering If I should use something like WLP029 German Ale/ Kölsch Yeast that tends accentuates hop flavors. Suggestions? Thoughts on what yeast or the recipe as a whole?
