Re: 5 Year Anniversary!
Congratulations.
And thanks for giving me another reason to feel old. Me and the missus were 32 years together last June.

Congrats! As long as you married your best friend and you're better with her than without, it won't be your last anniversary.

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to you!
Re: 5 Year Anniversary!
So we celebrated the anniversary this weekend. Only way I know how to celebrate anything.... with fun! I don't mind the theater and crap like that on occassion but that is not a celebration thing to me. So instead..... we went Ziplining! It was a blast. Here are some photos.
After that we went to the store and bought some nice steaks and made a nice dinner at home with sides of Potatoe Au Grautin and Creamed Spinach.
Was a fun day.

Looks like fun D. Where is that in relation to Roanoke? I'd be interested in checking it out if we ever get to move.

Looks like it is about 2 hours North heading up 81. Price wasn't too bad ($75/person), although I think it is a little higher than needed. But when you look at the necessity of 2 guides for 1-1.5 hours, the price doesn't seem too bad.Brewbirds wrote:Looks like fun D. Where is that in relation to Roanoke? If it was just the 2 of us, plus guides, we probably could have gone through the course in about 30-45 minutes.

Here is 1 more of us on the final platform. It was a very scenic area.
