I've got one bottle of Copperbottom Lager left, besides the two I've set aside for Homebrew Alley IX in early February.

I'm going to save it until the day of the competition. It's partly superstition, but it's also because I want to taste exactly what the judges are tasting.

Whether I enter the South Ferry Steam Beer remains to be seen. I'm bottling it this weekend, and I'll have to see how it turns out.

I've always made sure that I have a least one beer to taste after the score sheets. Being of simpleton palate, it really helps me to read and then to taste what the judges are picking up on.

Yeah, me too. Drinking the last one is like the end of an era.

I have my spreadsheet setup to warn me at 18 bottles. However, since many of the 17 types I once had were Mr. Beer, I've also had to sigh as I drank the last one.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...
