Odell/Boulivard Collaboration
Odell and Boulevard are doing a "Collaboration Tour". They are doing tap take overs at various establishments all over the country. They have a collaboration brewed APA that is one of the best beers I have ever tasted. It has an aroma similar to opening a fresh pack of hops. The flavor is definitely hoppy. I would say more floral than citrusy. But does have piney notes as well. There is absolutely no bitter finish to this beer at all. In fact, if anything, it finishes a tad bit sweet. I absolutely love it. Our local Old Chicago just got the new 180 shilling ale but haven't tapped it yet. I am looking forward to Friday when I will go back out there and give that stuff a try.
Re: Odell/Boulivard Collaboration
I really like 90 Schilling so I'm curious to hear how this 180 is. I didn't even know about it until you mentioned it so I went and looked at Odell's site. Wow.
And I still have a soft spot for a well crafted APA - that sounds yummy, too.

I am enjoying a 180 as I type. It is INCREDIBLE!
