Welcome to the forum, Galaxie66
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Welcome aBorg! Happy brewing!
Re: First Post
Wow,
Thanks for the great welcome.
I've joined some other forums for wood working, another hobby, and never experienced such a response.
I mainly enjoy ipa's and ales.
Not so much light beers.
I'll try to contribute something worth while.

You've come to the best/friendliest forum for homebrewers. Great people and advice, good recipes to try from every dicipline....what more could you ask for?
Re: First Post
Welcome from the other end of NY! Glad to have you here. I'm an IPA APA guy mostly, though I just brewed a Belgian. Well, two Belgians, but there's a thread for that. Galaxie66 isn't a car, is it? Cool if it is. I drive a '79 Chrysler. I also do some woodwork, on boats mainly, including that one <-.

That’s odd. The first thing I thought of was Galaxy hops, and 66 must be how many ounces he puts in a batch. "Good idea!”, thought I.John Sand wrote:Galaxie66 isn't a car, is it? Cool if it is.

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
