Single Tier Stand Build
Got a reply for my stand. Should be ready for pick up by 6/13. I'll drive there and save $60. I'll let work pay for the gas Here is a picture below as to what I am thinking for the set up. I saw an awesome idea for the gas line which is basically a 6" gas pipe with a T and 2-3' long flexible gas hoses to the burners. I am going to be getting the Banjo BG14s for the stand without the windshield to start. Will put build a couple if it is an issue. Than I will lay a piece of metel across the bottom in between the middle support. I won't go fully across it, maybe halfway on each side of the support in order to mount the 2 pumps. I only have 1 pump right now so I will most likely just use that one for now and add the second one at a later time. I will be getting $300.00 for my 3 tier stand so that will allow me to purchase the new burners, possibly the new pump, and a few more cam locks and hoses.
I am really pumped right now about this. Wasn't sure if I was going to get to buy the new stand this summer but it is all coming together. Best thing about the new stand is that it is really easy to transport for big brew days compared to the 3 tier stand! I will keep this thread going and update it as I get it put together.

It's the banjo BG 14 burner. Found it cheapest on Amazon for about $42. I've wanted to try it for a while. Supposed to boil faster than the turkey frier burner and much quieter.berryman wrote:Dan, what is that burner pictured?

Re: Single Tier Stand Build
Since I will now be using pumps, for the most part on this stand, I wanted something that I could plug my pump in to with a switch. Was thinking of building some sort of electrical box with switches to do this but stumbled across a great thread on HBT which offered this little dandy device.
The only 2 issues I have with it is the plug outlets are located on the top of the device and there really isn't a way to mount it to my new stand. I will work on putting something together for this now. The pump has about a 5' cord. I was thinking I could build an arm extension on the stand with a shelf for the box and mount it to that. It would keep it away from any possible water issues. Otherwise I will mount it to base of the stand as well and build a box to go around it to keep it dry in case there are any issues with boil overs I am thinking if I mount it to the left side of the stand there really shouldn't be any issues with water since it won't be getting hotter than 170-180 degrees and no chance of boil overs. With solutions come new problems. Hard to work it out without having everything in front of me but figured for $15 I really couldn't go wrong trying it.
One of the great things about it is that is allows 2 more spaces for things to plug in if I something comes up down the road.

Re: Single Tier Stand Build
I am shocked with how quick I got this stuff. Wasn't scheduled for delivery until mid next week, 6/16 around. Received both burners, regulator and the switch box today. On Friday I received all the bolts and angle pieces to put my stand together which I will pick up tomorrow.
This is getting AWESOME!!

Cool Dan, it's like opening Birthday presents, only you know what your getting.
Do you have a link for that pump switch block? I'd like to look into that. One thing you could do would be black out the existing #s on it, flip it over, add new #s and then the plugs are coming out the bottom.
