Beer fest today
As much as I hate drinking at noon. I am definitely going. There is a city bus stop 5 blocks from my house and the bus depot is 2 blocks from the venue.

Sounds like a great time. If folks ever get the chance to volunteer, I have actually had more fun pouring for a 90 minute shift then tasting after that during the second shift, for each of the past 3 years. Placerville dates from the Gold Rush era and is our county seat, the bell tower is a prominent historical landmark, and the Placerville Belltower Brewfest was last night. My wife and I poured for the distributor of Crabbies ginger beer and hard lemonade from England, Kroenenborg from France, and Moa from New Zealand. Among the fun is, once we know where we're stationed, to quickly use Google to learn about the beers so we can answer questions. Then, all the guests are sociable, fun and polite. If folks ever have the chance to volunteer, you might have just as much fun as we do.

It was great fun Amy. A microbrew in Emporia I have been interested in visiting sometime was there. Their beer was really good. The day was perfect. Sunny and low 80s. I look forward to that fest every year
