That sounds good. I like a good wheat beer with a subtle to prominent hop kick. I went to their site to see what I could read on this and they are pretty vague.
FERMENTATION: Ale yeast, one variety of hops, three types of malts
Oh well, I'll just imagine what they are.

I'd also like to know what hop variety they are using. I have two people I know that work there in the brew room and I will ask them the next time I see either one. My problem is when I run in into one of them somewhere we get to talking so much about everything I forget to ask about something I'd like to know. Is Southern Tier available on the Left Coast where you are?

No I didn't like this very good. A guy I work with knows I like trying different beers and told me I would like this. Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy - my first bad impression was the twist cap, now it's only worth .05 cents to me when empty.

I love cold lemonaid and I love beer, but just a little too close to 50-50 for my taste. Some might really like it.

I've never seen it and not according to their map. A while back I had a wheat beer that was hopped similar to an IPA with Simcoe and Amarillo and I really liked it. It was at that point that I used some wheat in my Nelson Pale Ale. I really like the combo of wheat beers with IPA-style hops - and even more when it's not over-hopped so the wheat can some through.

I had one of those a few years back when I had no other choices available to me while traveling in North Carolina. It's something that my wife would like and I thought it was much more like a Mike's Hard Cider than a beer - but I think that is what the style is. Maybe on a hot day I could be in the mood for that, just not when I want a "beer".

RE: Shandy's... I'm fairly certain that the "real things" don't come in a bottle... they are actually a mix of beer and lemonade done "on the spot" as such. So you can adjust proportions to your taste. And they don't need to be lemonade they could be done with any sort of soft drink like substance. If you were so inclined.

I'm drinking my "Blonde gone Awry". I'll post impressions in that thread.

It was very fresh but the difference between this draft and bottled is not as far apart as you'd expect.

Oooohhhhh, new for Kelia, Stone Woot Stout (3.0?) is coming out this week. 13% ABV!!!!
And beer Jesus is involved. You know I'll grab some. Chocolate....yummy!

Leine just isn't the same now that it's a Miller product. A shame...

This is a really good Imperial IPA. Piney and earthy in both aroma and flavor, with a little sweet finish. You would never know it's 9.2%.

Simply Sterling Belgian Pale Ale. One of my dogs wants some. She can't have it. As you can see it is properly "Belgian Carbed". The head doesn't fall, it laces the glass, and it seems full bodied even though it's a session strength beer. Very refreshing.
