I deserve a homebrew because I am so sick and tired of being in pain! Not organ failing cancer pain but still it's darn annoying.

Three months ago I did a marathon session pressure washing some of my rental houses. Got tennis elbow in my right arm and I'm right handed. OK, I'm old.

Then 7 weeks ago I'm carrying sacks of concrete enjoying a beautiful day when the 80lb bag hits the ground. My first thought was "I didn't tell my hand to open" and then I start screaming like a girl. Torn finger and arm tendons in my right arm. What the F I have never heard of this happening.

After 6 weeks with a contraption on my arm I graduated to a simple brace thing last week. This morning I'm clumsily working in my shop with my left hand... and got it in the saw. It only got a finger but it's from the back side through the nail. Tip to knucle with a blade width gap missing in the middle. Sonofa! Now I'm really pissed because it's totally my own fault. Right arm is at 25% with pain and my left is throbbing like a mother. I'm down to hunt and peck typing.

Got home and immediately called Dr. Foothills Brewing and he prescribed two Hoppyum IPA's stat! After the professional medication I'm onto some home brew Cascade pale ale as fast as I can drink it down to numb the throbbing finger. My plan is to have a headache by morning to make me forget the finger.

Remind me not to brew with you anytime soon. I am afraid you will blow something up.

....I manage a large trade show at work and it officially kicks of tomorrow. I'll be at it until late afternoon in Saturday. So now I'm going to sit on the porch and enjoy a Lager Miser IPL before SHTF tomorrow.

Okay, you are the reigning champ. I only stuck a knife through 1.5 fingers in May. PT just ended. It's still crooked and stiff, but I can use a knife and fork. Did you post this just to make me feel better? Thanks! :D

I deserve a homebrew, because I just had a gas line installed in our kitchen for Mrs. Frosty.

She hates electric stoves. She's an excellent chef, whereas my culinary skills stop at Ramen Noodles and hot dogs. So, she'll be able to get the stove she wants now. (No, we don't have a stove yet)

I deserve a homebrew because the renovation on our bathroom started yesterday. So in addition to the craziness of work and the stress of the upcoming wedding, we just had to have our bathroom renovated at the same time.

SWMBO and I had to run out to Home Dopey last night even though I would have preferred to sit in front of the baseball game and drink homebrew. At least I didn't really miss anything, since there was still no score by the time we got back home.

Because we completed spreading 33 yards of mulch, including edging of trees and beds, re-laying a sidewalk, planting a tree, ... Cost me a lot of beer as we had some each day. Looks great!

Luckily it is Meat-o-palooza at my brew club meeting tonight so i can keep up with those rounds! We are bringing brews and grilling at the brewery for dinner for our meeting. It is an annual event and every year it will mark my anniversary with the club as my first meeting was this exact event!
