An impulse buy for a session IPA. Fits in with many of the others I've had but much less IBU's (35) and tastes rather bland. Does have a decent, citrus like nose.
Can't really suggest this for anyone to buy. I did get a Deviant Dales to try later.
Sorry for the crappy pic!

Maybe it's not that it's really a crappy pic....more like the beer didn't deserve a righteous photo.

Re: Oscar Blues Pinner Throw Back IPA
Too bad it's bland. This seems to be a tough style for the breweries to nail down. Maybe it's easier for BMC drinkers to go to this than established IPA drinkers.
But, as I've mentioned, there are some good ones out there.

Re: Oscar Blues Pinner Throw Back IPA
I had one of these Monday night while in Denver. The nose was pretty citrusy and I actually found it to be pretty good. A solid "B" or even a "B+".
Like many others, though - it comes through as very thin. I've accepted that as a norm for the style at this point (although I don't find Easy Jack to come across this way) and actually enjoyed it. I wanted something hoppy but not heavy and it fit the bill well.
