Between Simcoe and Citra I don't think you can go wrong.

it is basically the same recipe but I thought I would re-post for those who had not seen it there. Thinking about trying Mosaic hops the next time.

Brewed my 10th batch of this today. I do keep playing around with the hops. This time I replaced the Citra with Mosaic. Not sure there will be that much difference, but we will see. I have liked each batch of this one better than the last.

Im new here. Had a three tier brewing system years ago but having three children I gave it up. Getting back into it and the simplicity of the conical brewdemon was really appealing. For this and the other recipes here are these modification but still brewed in the conical small fermenter ?

:bbwelc: a_gunslinger, glad you found us. Yes this recipe and the others here in the BrewDemon Recipes Section are pretty much for the smaller 2 gallon batches unless otherwise specified. Welcome back to brewing!

BTW make sure to check out the Members Only Discount section for the BrewDemon Discount

I am new to brewing. I love IPA's. I would like to brew a good IPA using the Wicked IPA from Brew Demon. I like the hoppiness. Does anyone have a good recipe?

If you mean Wild Spirit IPA (that's what Brew Demon sells, not Wicked), then follow the recipe posted above.

Welcome Gunslinger and Packfest! The BrewDemon is a great small fermenter, I use it for 1-2.5 gallon batches. Be careful about the spigot, don't over tighten it, or otherwise stress it. I will sometimes put the full fermenter in a five gallon bucket just in case.

I also like the Wild Spirit IPA from BrewDemon. In fact, we liked it enough after brewing a 2.5G recipe (brewed 2.5G instead of 3G so it'd fit in my LBC and be a little stronger), that I just bought a 6G recipe from them recently. I'll probably get it brewed and fermenting this weekend.
