My appologies BR, I did not intend to sound like I was shooting down your idea, just comes out that way sometimes. If u wish to brew a cuc brew, go forth and do so, might be the best beer u ever made.

On the other hand, since I'm so discouraging to other brewers, I will no longer answer these posts, ppl like brewbirds and *their* idea of a forum, one I have condsidered my family for a long time, MUCH longer than them for sure, I will stop answering threads. Heavin forbid I should be different than the crowd.

That is what I saw at the moment and was all I was pointing out. Just that if someone has been brewing a long time to realize that some of the new guys on here that are just trying to get comfortable with getting their processes down need supportive comments.

FIT when I was a newbie on the old MB forum you were one of my favorite posters and I learned a lot from you. I think you should still help newbies like you always have.

I see both sides of the point. Over in the old dead forum, whenever someone used to ask about "punkin beer", I always used to post, "Don't" because I (personally, myself, me) hate punkin and I (personally, myself, me) don't think it should be in beer.

Then I would always post them a link to a prior discussion of the punkin beers. I had a few uppity nOOb posters get on me about "being a prick" but then again.......they missed the point of the helpful follow up post.

What about pumpkin spiced beer without any pumpkin in it? Those are the only pumpkin beers I actually like. Like an Oktoberfest with some pumpkin pie spices.
