Hey there BB!!! So great to see you back here!Brewbirds wrote:I'm glad to hear that Evily is back on which means, I assume, that she's still brewing. Hi Evily if you see this. So is the ENTIRE female Borg contingent only two? Man we need to reach out your buddy, the Ohio fan, and get her back on.

Hi Lord Mod good to be back in the realm.Beer-lord wrote:There's alb out there somewhere still I hope......that makes 3. I guess us guys scare you ladies off but we'd love to have more women brewers join the Borg.
That's a lot of bottles, you guys better get to work!
Alb was always with us popping in and out so when Rick didn't mention her I wondered if she was still jumping in. I sure hope so.
For me it seemed like all the sudden there just weren't enough hours in the day anymore for stuff that needed doing... BEWARE turning fifty folks it's a weird, weird thing; I think we must just add more "chores".
I moved 14 cases of bottles from Texas to Virginia and moved 28 +/- from Virginia to Greenville. I confess that I have a curious fascination with all things beer bottle in home brewing.

BERRYMAN so happy to be back and so glad to hear from you; I will ever so slowly catch up with all my Borg buddies.
I've been rejoicing in the availability of farmers markets here and in Virginia as we didn't have this blissful luxury in Texas.
Can't wait to see what you've been up to.

Forgot Alb, she hasn't posted since early July.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I'm sure alb will pop up sooner or later. She finds the most interesting articles on beer and brewing.

This thread kinda sums up the amazing thing about the Borg and this site........you may not hear from people for a while but they miss you and are so glad when you come back.
Brewbirds, I don't know you but based on this thread, I would certainly like to meet you one day....maybe at one of our "almost ready for primetime" trips in the future? I'm hoping for San Diego in a year or 2.

Well dang RedBEERD I'd already put you firmly in the category of family the day I saw your first post. I felt that BeerBorg pull swelling in you the moment you typed the first few keystrokes.RedBEERd wrote:This thread kinda sums up the amazing thing about the Borg and this site........you may not hear from people for a while but they miss you and are so glad when you come back.

Your Bro knows what I mean; we are just a way close bunch of folks defying the fact that we only (mostly) converse online.
I hope the meet-ups get, darn it can't think of the word, but in general more popular and well attended.
I have raised a pint in the general direction of my former hometown, NOLA; cheers to you and BL.

You're a sight for sore eyes, Michelle. You sound good. How's Andy doing? I sure hope things work out good for you in your new place. That's quite a collection of bottles you got there.

We are so thrilled to see our beloved JoeC back on the Borg. How truly does the term that we are a "collective" describe this place? We may go away for a while but we will never leave.
Love you and SWMBO Joe you guys are awesome beyond description.
