Friday is The Bhoy-o's birthday. He'll be 22. You may recall that, last year, I bought him his first beer on the day he turned legal. And he took one sip, decided he didn't like beer, and that was the end of it.

But here's the thing....

Friday is our bowling league night. So maybe I can get them to announce over the PA that it's his birthday, and encourage everyone to buy him a beer to celebrate. And he won't drink them, because he doesn't like beer.

And I'll have them all to myself.

I was not, however I did bowl in a Baptist league. No smoking, no drinking, no swearing. Back in the days where all of that was "normal" activity in other bowling leagues. I would guess Mormon leagues are of a similar vein but I never went bowling with the Mormons. I did bowl with skinheads though.
