My wife and son went upstate for a few days for Spring break. They got back this afternoon. It was nice to have the place to myself for the weekend; I got some uninterrupted brewing time, and enjoyed some movies. But I promised to make dinner for them after their trip. I cut some chicken breasts into cubes this morning and they've been marinating in teriyaki sauce for a few hours. I'm gonna wrap them in bacon, skewer them, and grill them. Probably put some sesame seeds on them, too, for good measure.
Grilling some onion, pepper, and snow peas will round it out, and I've got rice to complete the meal. It's a warm and lovely afternoon here, and I'm looking forward to firing up the grill for the first time this season!

We fired up the grill too.
My son made prime rib at home, another roast, and a steak stuffed with crabmeat. The latter two were seared on the Akorn Grill, it was all delicious.
I only made strawberry rhubarb pie. Oh yeah, beer too. Irish Red, Amber Lager, IIPA. Dave also brought Sip Of Sunshine, some Trillium, other primo NE IPAs. I love that kid.
