My Father's Day gift in action!

Post by teutonic terror »

Afternoon BORG! :borg:

LOML got this for me for Father's Day and I have done some ribs on it before now,
but today it's spatchcock chicken!

It was the floor model at Home Depot. She talked them down $50 and used her
Dad's military discount to get it for $235! :jumpy:

It is a small learning curve to it and I still struggle at times to hold the temps I want,
but I wish in hind sight, I woulda sprung the extra $100 and gotten this rather
than the Masterbuilt electric.

Love Summer, love cooking out!

Have a great weekend guys and thanks for listening! :)

After doing a spatchcocked turkey a couple weeks ago, it will be the only way I do poultry from here on.

Which cooker is it? Looks like my Akorn.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

King Griller, made by Char Griller.

I'm pretty sure they're the same product under a different name. This one has a
side cart attached. Very handy!

Very similar to the Akorn. Use it well; Char Griller does it right. Not very disappointed in mine, although there are some design issues I think could have been easily resolved.
