New Millar's Pilot Mill
I bought myself this mill with Christmas and Birthday money. (Okay, a few bucks of my own too)
It's stainless, made in the US, ships and stores in a bucket. The rollers are a little longer than most, making it mill faster. I prefer to hand mill and plan to use the included crank. So far I like it, though I have only run a test. I did have to tinker with it a little.

Nice looking mill I like the way it sits on the bucket. I'm old though and would attach a drill to it.

I thought you were old, your cat lost all his hair.
I'm afraid I have to join a gym since my idea of exercise is crushing barley. They're tiny!

Damm John, that's not just a Cadillac but a Rolls Royce of Mills. But I do agree with ink, I would power it with something besides Armstrong power Very nice and good for you....

Thanks Berry. Next time I grind I will try to remember to time it. But some Amazon reviewers say that it doesn't require power because it mills easily by hand. I ground with the Corona by hand. I only bought this mill because 12# by Corona was enough, and I do ten gallon batches sometimes. I hope to comfortably grind 24#.

John, what you got the gap set at? Or haven't you had time to dial it in yet?

Re: New Millar's Pilot Mill
The marks on this mill are in inches, I think. Mine is just less than .01, but I'm not sure they are accurate. I just judged it by eye. A good crush, not much flour. I'll refine it as necessary.

Nice looking Mill.
It is heat treated and Cryo'd so it should last a long time!

I used this for the first time today. Good crush, smooth operation. I didn't time it, but I crushed 12# well before the water reached strike temp.
