Barley Crusher - Free to Good Home

Post by HerbMeowing »

It's no longer in use in my brew shed b/c the rollers seemed to be free-wheeling and the mill wasn't getting the job done.
Cleaning the rollers did little to improve its performance.
Might just need some of your TLC.
No takers ... it goes to the pound :D

Manufacturer claims life-time warranty on its products but if you've been home brewing long enough you've probably heard ... or know first-hand ... just how hard it is to get BC Products Enterprises ... Allentown MI to even answer customer inquiries.

Specs:
Purchase date: 11/2010
7# hopper
Milled ~170# / year
In service ~6 years

Terms:
You pay USPS or FedEx shipping via PayPal
Pre-placement home inspection not required ;)

---
Warranties neither expressed nor implied.
User assumes all risk.
Not intended for use by children.
Coffee is hot ... don't spill it in your lap.

I'm interested ... partly just to see if I can get it fixed. But also ... if I can it would definitely be better than what I'm using right now

It sounds like it could be after that much use, either the knurling is wore almost off on the rollers or the bushings are wore out or both. Either one of them things could be fixed on a lathe.
