I've made a few great beers with Mr. Beer (and other) products and I'm getting bolder with trying stuff on my own. Within the next few days I plan to make a batch using commercial LME and hops I grew, a definite first for me. If all goes well it will be a fairly average IPA, giving me a baseline for future adjustments.
