I can see a youtube video from a link, but I can't see the embedded videos. They seem to use flash and I don't think I can see flash on any of my tablets, phones, or laptops.
I wonder if the forum YouTube could be set up for both the embeded video and a "Click Here For Direct Link".

If I'm the only whiner, it's not worth the effort. I don't always watch the videos, anyway.

It may not be that tough to do.

Realy? It should be html5. Embedded videos show up on my iPad and iPod.

Boo flash! Yay HTML5!
(it might be a preference in your browser, bpgreen.)

Flash gets a lot of hate, maybe because it's so often used for spam and popups. It really is an amazing app to work with though and there's a TON of stuff you can do with it: make art, games, websites, slideshows and even make cartoons of pretty much any length with full audio: something I want to do, if I ever have time. And you don't have to export projects as Flash files, you can export HD video codecs as well, for YouTube, etc.

The later versions of Flash can even export your project as HTML5. So a lot of the HTML5 content you encounter was likely made in Flash. Creating in Flash is like using a visual art pallet, whereas creating with HTML5 is all done in code. So for visual types, like myself, Flash is still quite viable.
