Hey folks. I was a member of MBF (RIP) for 7 years. In that time, it became much more to me (and a lot of us) than just an online forum. I was there 'til the bitter end. That's all history now, so I want to thank Louie for the invite. I'm glad to see so many familiar names here and I look forward to getting to know, and learn from, the rest of you!

Yep That Damn Horse and I survived the migration. This probably isn't gonna make much sense to the beerborg veterans, but Jon (aka Jon TWR) from Mrbeerfans sent me some beers, because he's a swell guy. One of them was an American Amber, in a pretty good sized bottle. So, I went to open it with my trusty horse bottle opener that my crazy, yet beloved aunt sent me for no apparent reason years ago, and this was the result:

Ever since then, it became a running gag on MBF and the horse bottle opener was inexplicably nominated for Brewer of the Month several times... finally winning our final BOTM election just a few days ago. :D

but don't do that.

I can see a youtube video from a link, but I can't see the embedded videos. They seem to use flash and I don't think I can see flash on any of my tablets, phones, or laptops.
