Wow, has it been this long? Seriously?? I just noticed, then looked at others join date. We've been a member of this social pub little over 10 years, where has the time gone?

Yeah, I came here directly from the Mr. Beer forum. I never joined the "Mr. Beer Fans" one.

I joined the MB fan's forum but only made a post or two and introduced myself and was it, then came here. I feel bad this place is not active anymore, everyday you could see so many new post and sometimes hard to keep up. Now I still check everyday but nothing new.

It is sad. I'm just so busy with so many things I've not brewed in 3 months. I check in now and then but have nothing to offer.
Ahhh, the good ole days!

I scored a big pile of oak smoked wheat and some Polich Lubelski hops, so I just brewed a Grätzer / Grodziskie because I love that stuff. I did it 65% Oak Smoked Wheat and 35% Pilsner.

Oh and I have everything I need to brew a Pliney the Elder clone, so that's up next.

Yep, still here but haven't made beer in a while, due to other commitments. As I normally brew/bottle/etc.. on Saturday mornings and throughout the spring/summer and fall we're vendors at some local farmer's markets. That's mostly over for the season now, so I'll be brewing shortly. Which is a good thing as I'm out of my home brewed beer.

I'm thinking of brewing soon, my wrists are getting slowly better. Hands are no longer in constant pain although now I notice the arthritis more. Can't tell if I've gained any strength back as I could still hold stuff pretty tight albeit painful before so I didn't do much lifting/work with them because of the pain. But for now, I"m happy I had both wrists operated on. I can now pick up and move a heavy telescope which makes star-gazing much easier. I have not gone for any motorcycle rides as I did not trust my hands but now feel I could although it has now got cold with the promise of ugly wet white stuff coming down soon, well, 2 days this week the weatherman has said we gonna get it.... darn it.

I think my son is going to come visit so we can brew up a couple batches so we can get them kegged before xmas. Will be nice to get more done, they will have to sit and condition after as we are planning... if nothing else goes wrong, to be snowbirds for a while this winter. Weather willing as we'd be leaving after the holidays. Wanted to go close to the Gulf this winter but the past 2 hurricanes kinda messed up the campgrounds we were looking at. We have recently returned home as we took an 1,100 mile trip (one way) in our camper to visit my mom for her 85th birthday. Had an enjoyable time visiting with her and taking our first long trip in our new RV but my hands did let me know we are still in recovery. After returning home, I turned a couple items on my wood lathe, my hands also said slow down, your not fully healed yet so, it's a long/slow process to recover from 2 minor operations. I can't imagine what recovery from a major operation would en-tale time wise.
