I really need to try this. My problem is if it doesn't bark or meow at me I forget to water and feed it.

I decided to dry them. I'm about to leave home again for work and I don't know when I'll be able to use them in a brew. I need to find a good recipe for these hops!

Funny you mention that. I was really wishing I had "Smellovision" so share the smell of these hops!

Harvested, Dried, packaged, sealed and put in the freezer for the next brew

Last year when I help Liberty Street Brewing pick hops, they had a "Hop Box" dryer that had several levels of screens with a light bulb in the bottom and a fan blowing from the top. They dried their hops for about 3 days until they were very "papery" in feel (Think dried flowers) and had lost most/all of the water weight. I basically followed the same guidelines for my hops. I checked my hops once or twice a day to see how they were coming along and mixed them up to make sure they were drying evenly. It was actually quite easy.
