That is correct. Breeders who do it for the love of the animal normally adopt out at 12-14 weeks to get all the required shots completed and sometimes them spayed. Unlike mills where it's all about the money and they try to turn over product as quickly as possible.

Because of our friendship with Judy, she said we could have taken them home last night. We thanked her, but said we also want what's best for Kinky and Half Pint.

I totally get it. Our Shepherd family additions are the same way. You need to set up a countdown clock so we all know when you are getting kinky!
