My wife and I are gonna get a little kinky....
tailed Sphynx kitten. Our very close friend and Sphynx breeder had made up her mind that we are to have this kitten. There is a very long story behind this friendship and it all started with the Best Damn Cat EVER named Bela. Kinky (named because of the end of her tail) is just over a week old at this point. Jody and I are going down next weekend to see her. I'm just not sure she can fill the the hole in my heart, but maybe she can help.

Entirely way too cute.

Awesome. You'll end up loving that cat for sure!
I showed my wife, she thought it was a baby pig at first glance.

As my daughter would say, "errr mah God!"
I know what you mean, though. She won't replace Bela in any way or completely fill that hole BUT she will show you how much your heart can still grow to make room for her.

She's awesome! And she's not meant to take Bela's place. She'll make her own place in your lives and your hearts.

That is awesome, while I've heard of them, I've never seen one before, let alone a kitten. thanks for sharing her picture with us.

Judy sent us this picture this morning. We are going to see her Sunday. It will be 6-8 weeks before we bring her home. I'm actually a little excited at times and a little sad too.

If you get too sad, I'll take her!
Do you really have to put sunblock on them?

Ok, I do have to admin that Kinky is pretty cute.
Re: My wife and I are gonna get a little kinky....
Found this over on this thread. As some of the new guys might not know how my wife and I have come to love this breed of cat I'll paste this here.
We got our first Sphynx cat Bela when my wife worked the death of her owner. My wife works for a Medical Examiners office and was a death investigator for 12 years. She was called to the scene of a vet tech (Jenny) who had passed. One of her pets was Bela, who true to the breed of being noisy, kept coming up to my wife during examination of the body. Life not being a 1 hour CSI show Jody had stayed in touch with the mother (Mary Beth) until toxicology reports came back. Mary had stated that all Bela would do was sit in the basement and cry. My wife had already let her know that if they could not keep all the animals her daughter had (4 dogs and 4 cats) that we would like to help. That is how we came to have Bela and we still send pictures and funny Bela stories to Mary Beth a few times a year, and she replies gratefully that her daughter is smiling down upon us.
This leads to Tobias, aka Kitty T.
The Center Manager at my store had pancreatic cancer and was going through treatment. I knew how to help take his mind off what he was going through, Bela, and she did not disappoint.
We took her to dinner at their home and, well Bela being Bela, made Steve smile the whole time we were there. Bela would be off in one room, there would be a "slight" noise and around the corner she would come full bore legs akimbo, off into another room. It was lather, rinse, repeat for the whole evening. Steve would watch, giggle at her antics and watch again. For that short time Steve did not have illness.
They ask about the breed (I'd been following two breeders in the Atlanta area since getting Bela) and that was my extent of Sphynx knowledge.
Next thing we know, they have contacted one of the breeders and off we go to get a kitty for Steve. The (damn I'm starting to tear up) crappy part is we lost Steve 6 months later, but the joy that Murray gave him during that time was immeasurable. Murray was by Steve's side day and night. When Steve went to the hospice I was known as "The cat guy" and ask to bring Murray there. True to the breed, Murray pulled the nurses cord in the bathroom at 3 in the morning, which brought everyone running into the room. We still talk and laugh about that.
I know, long story, but thanks for reading this far. The memories and tears are good therapy.
So it happens that Murrays father, Tobias was being retired. The breeder ask if we would like to care for him. Would we!.....WOW what and honor.....YES we would....we didn't know what to say.
We had Kitty T for year before liver cancer took him, but he lived a lifetime in that one year (those will be stories for another time). He and his offspring have made many people happy.
Edit:
Every evening around 8:00 Bela would come down stairs and look around the corner at us. When she realized we weren't coming to bed, she would crawl in my lap and I would pick her up and cradle her like a baby. I would give her "Budda Belly Pinches" and she would purr with approval.
We lost Bela New Years Eve 2015. We let Mary Beth know and thanked he for allowing us to care for Bela until she could be with Jenny once again. I do miss my Baby Kitten.
