On the upper right hand side next to your username there is a button [v], clicking on that button will open up several custom searches including "View New Posts" and "View Unread posts".

Not sure, but I do unread posts and it covers all the new replies.... I think....

View New Posts will show you all topic with new post (since last visit) regardless of if you have read them or not.

View unread posts will only show topics with posts that you have not yet read.

Sorry to add to the list, but I can't get subscribe or notify to work. New posts get made to topics I have subscribed to, but I never get an email, not even in my spam folder.

What is a BING BOT and GOOGLE BOT and why are they listed as registered users?

It's slow here this AM so I thought I'd further my education.

Bing Bot and Google Bot are both search engine robots that basically "scrap" the forum for everything that is posted here so that it is searchable by anyone using those services So if you are looking for a BIAB or AG or Basic recipe on Google or Bing you will be directed here as a source to find it!

Uh Oh have we been hacked? My forum screen is jumping all over the place with ads. It's a bloody mess they are all over place.

I am working to add google ads to the forum and still trying to figure out where they will work best and not be too intrusive please be patient!

Glad to here it was on purpose LM. I was on this AM and they weren't there so it freaked me out.

FWIW I clicked on a section and got a weird white screen instead of the normal one, it looked kind of like an index. Only happened one time.

You might have caught it right as I was making an update or change. You might see some weirdness over the next day or so (weekend) as I work on the site to put ads on and some other changes that I am working on.

I've noticed the lack of Quick Reply button in the "Grains, Hops, Yeast..." category area. Are you able to change that, or is that intentional?
