We drove down the road while a news reporter was flapping his lips. We figured we'd be on camera (just the truck really) and sure enough, near the end of the report, there we were driving by. Posted it on Face Book. Why? 'cuse it was stupid.

As a kid in 6th grade, I had a spot on "School Days". Already been a TV start.


and before you all start, yeah, we had tv then... black and white.. and I was the remote.

LOL I remember being the remote AND the antenna..... foil wrapped clothes hanger....

My son will be here this Thursday. So I'm taking the HHR in for it's oil change. He'll be using that as his "get around" car. I'm keeping my pick up.
I thought we had the HHR sold, but it was a last minute ...um, dang.. So it's going to be taken to Wa. week after next. He's happy about that. Last time he drove a U-Haul-it, it broke down on him.. now he can just unhook the her-her, get done what has to be done, then rehook.


oh, as far as these "time zones" go.. which one do we select for TX and Wa?

Split the difference and go Mountain...

You may want to look into options other than a U-Haul truck, like Penske or Ryder. Find one where their local terminal is located so the truck may actually have maintenance done on it.

U-Haul-it is a generic term for me. There is a Penske out let in corpus. odds are, we'll hit that place up. Son said the last time he used a U-Drag it for U-haul.. it broke down on him. :opps:

Sorry for all the flip-flopping... but as you can guess, there are more things going on than my defective one brain cell thinker can handle.
The latest "think" is to try and make it to Sonora Tx, spend the night, then 12 or so hours later, be in Tucson AZ.
Our only Traveling problem is our Terrorist. Her home will be in Battle Ground, Wa. Which means we're gonna have fun trying to find a place to sleep. Most places only take 20 pounders or less, and the Terrorist is 40 pounds of energy and love.

Bacon and french toast with a over easy egg on it. yummy

we had scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and a couple pots of coffee.

I'd have some more coffee...but that might keep me awake during my nap..
