Devastating is a good word for it. It was the closest thing to a beergasm I've ever had...that 4/20/14 was. :jumpy:

According to their site, it's bottling in 11 hours. Does Stone work 24 hour shifts?

My buddy had some fresh at Stone today. Called me and said it was very smooth and that I should be there. Yea, I should.

Oh snap! It's out there. I know it won't be here for about a week. But I'm on a beer diet. What to do, what to do?
Let me know if it's as good as the last batch. That was something. Don't know how they could make it better but they did.

I love the pic!

Don't be afraid, Ron, beer is your friend. And you can make more friends with that stash you have.

As always, it pours crystal clear, burnt-orange in color and just vibrant and inviting to the eye.
The carb level was really low and the aroma wasn't as prominent as the last batch. Whereas that one was more tropical, melon, citrus this one smells a bit more of Simcoe to me.

The taste honestly isn't as good as the last one. It's a bit more bitter up front and less balanced and almost a bit harsh. Either I got a dud bottle or maybe it's actually too fresh/green and needs to mellow/age a bit.

I have three bottles. I'll try another one in a week or so and then maybe I'll go back to Costco where I got them and pick up one more because they don't store them in the cooler ( :o ) and those will condition a bit more than the two in my fridge.

If this was my first exposure to this beer I wouldn't believe all the hype around it.

Fingers crossed that the rest are better. But the last batch was SOO good that this was somewhat of a let down.

Thanks for the review Ron. I was able to snag 2 bottles this morning before they were sold out at our local grocery store. This will be my first experience with Enjoy By, so hopefully you got a bad bottle...
