I've been traveling for work every week for the last four weeks, two weeks of which I worked 12 hour midnights. I finally got home yesterday afternoon and in the fridge was a six pack of Guinness and a sixer of Bass Ale with a Guinness pint glass on the counter as a welcome home present. So tonight I relax with a black & tan!

#93 - Gerst Amber Ale Conditioning and Carbing
Haven't had a Bass Ale in almost a decade and am not a black and tan man but that does look inviting. And after that work schedule, I'm sure it tasted 10 times better.
I hope you get some time to wind down and chillax, and of course, brew.

Well, it's not homebrew, but I do hope you took the opportunity to relax, stop worrying, and have some nice brew. You definitely deserve it, and your wife is a good woman to welcome you home this way.

Hey, for us 3rd shifters, 9am is homebrew time! (I can't say Miller time with a straight face anymore) I always kinda enjoyed the looks I got from the people just waking up and coming into the restaurant for breakfast and seeing myself and coworkers drinking.
