Another example of sloppy Marketing by Mr. Beer.
What they should do is:
- On Facebook, promote the code FBFREESSHIPPING.
- Via email, CHANGE the code to something else, to track it's usage. They already should be tracking email opens, clicks, and subsequent purchases, and by doing a new code they can track what is called "pass along", i.e. Crazy Climber telling non-Facebook users and non-email recipients of the promotion.
The way they did it they cannot tell who did it from Facebook and who passed it along via email, or who bought it after seeing it in an email but not clicking through and buying.
They have a lot of work to do.
