Dawg suggested a partigyle brew, where the second runnings from a high abv beer become the wort for a second lower abv beer. Dawg brewed a 11.2 first runnings Belgian Strong with a second runnings with an abv in the low 4s.
I opted not to partigyle and brewed an 8.5 Belgian strong.
I just tried Dawg's second runnings beer that he calls "After Though Belgian Strong" This is a great easy drinking session beer. The coriander and orange are just present. It is a very clean and light beer. I could easily drink 3 of these.
I'll try the first runnings Belgian Strong tonight or tomorrow. With an 11.2 abv I want to be sitting in front of the TV for the night before cracking that one open.
Great job on these Dawg! You have great labels also.
