My beer was reviewed on youtube

Post by Beer-lord »

Nate and his dad reviewed my version of their Drop Kick Nate on youtube. They are crazy folks who obviously enjoy brewing together.

That's pretty cool. Looks like it was a succesful clone job. And the mid video break for the s*#t delivery is pretty funny.

I think nate's dad is drunk in this one........these guys are funny. Nate asks him if he brought something in with him from the 'delivery' :jumpy:

And this was a really nice beer. Glad they thought it was better than the others they've tested so far. Nice job.....looks like I'm learning from a pro!

I am drinking ale today."

There's a huge group of homebrew youtubers who put out regular videos, mostly 'Homebrew Wednesday' videos from around the world. I subscribe to many of them and each week, watch a few. Most are informative mixed with BS and nonsense but each has their own way of doing things. This father and son group is relatively new and Nate won an international competition (of youtubers) with a black IPA that he hasn't shared with anyone yet. However, he did give his Drop Kick Nate recipe out to those who asked for it and most liked it as it is a bit different. I told him I'd send him one if he shared it with me which he did.

To the question of "who are those guys?", nobody really, just some homebrew loving folks having a good time. Really means nothing except that it proves out little hobby is full of nice people.

I think the idea of homebrew and drunken dads is hilarious and not entirely unheard of.

They waited a long time to drink this one but still, I agree with pretty much everything they said. For me, this is my best beer and favorite of all the one's I've brewed and I still plan on making it better. It's not roasty enough for me but balanced and I can never get enough of it.

Other than passing a few emails around, I don't know Nate and his dad but they sure do show how much they love this hobby and I really like that. They play off each other very well and are very entertaining. I'm sure they make damn good beer too from what I've seen though I've never had the honor of tasting their work.
