Hop schedule:

10 - 1.0 oz Cascade
05 - 0.5 oz Centennial
00 - 1.0 oz Cascade

Saving Alpha king for a future brew. Looks good. I rarely do anything at 30 but back in the day when I started brewing (before there were cars) we did a ton of 45 and 30 minute additions. Can't go wrong with C hops.
The Melanoidin adds some class too. And I also keep Special B around for color and some slight raisin taste.

Yeah, as I revisit this I would probably do away with the 30 and maybe the 20 minute addition also. Nowadays I am adding more at flameout.

I can vouch for Lagerpmp's Alpha King Clone. I used a slightly tweaked recipe and hops schedule but it's one of the closer clones I have done. This is Lagerpmp's pic right here:

Looks tasty. And it sounds like a pale ale that would be right up my alley.

LagerPMP....since everyones system is a little different, can you post the stats on the recipe too. IBU's, SRM, Gravities, etc. etc.? That would help me get this recipe into my system a little better. Thanks mucho!!!

Thanks Madbrewer for copying over the pic, brings back some great memories and makes me want to brew this again. I have made this recipe several times with tweaks here and there. 3 Floyds Alpha King has an OG of 1.066, and has 68 IBUs. With BIAB I missed my numbers from this original recipe, but it still came out tasting very close to the original.
