User Titles

There have been several requests and questions regarding the custom titles/badges. With the forum being so new and so many people initially having the "Newbie" title I felt that some of the veteran forum users from the Mr Beer forum needed to be identified as established experienced brewers.

The only people that have received "custom titles" or will receive "custom titles" are those that had been on the Mr. Beer forum before I had joined on December 31, 2011. This will continue to be the guide line for the time being and will be at my discretion. Any requests from users that joined that forum after that date will not be granted.

I apologize for any confusion or problems that this might have caused, I simply cannot grant all custom title requests at this time and wanted to make this clear and be transparent.

This "policy" may change in the future at my discretion.

Mackinac Island Red - I call this "Michigan Red"
Oatmeal Stout - I call this Not Fat, Stout - Oatmeal Stout

Bottled 5 gallons of Ann Arbor Red on 4/18/17. Bottled 5 gallons of Michigan Red on 5/8/17.

Brewed in 2017 - 22.13 gallons (19.91 in 2012, 48.06 in 2013, 61.39 in 2014, 84.26 in 2015,46.39 in 2016)
Brewed in lifetime - 282.14 gallons
Drinkable beer on hand -  13.58 cases, with 6.11 cases ready in May and early June.
Average cost per 12 pack through all beer brewed - $6.27(ingredients only)

Not sure when I joined, but I think the system you have is a good one.....but I was never one that was concerned about titles... not that there is anything wrong with that...

Good idea LM this should be a big help to the newer brewers who may not know everyone from the other site. If every body was listed as a newbie they be less likely to ask questions.

Really, what's a title. As long as your making big bucks, don't worry about the title.

Though I had the third highest post count on the other site (behind Dag and Hat), I'm cool with just carrying on as Newbie... That way I can feign ignorance... ;) :unsure: :blink: :?
