Looking back, I only see where I used this yeast twice (over 3 years ago) and my notes on the recipes were positive and I'm thinking of trying some again sometime this summer when my yeast back is low.
I actually can't remember anything at all about it (feel free to joke about my memory here) but the notes say I liked the beer lots. One was an IPA and the other a strong pale ale which I think this yeast is likely best for. It's more flocculent than 001 with more attenuation so I would think it would make a good, full bodied beer.
Searching the forum, I only see this mentioned once so if anyone has an current experience with it, please chime in.

Well ok. You're old and forgetful.Beer-lord wrote:I actually can't remember anything at all about it (feel free to joke about my memory here) please chime in.

I know I've used it, but like you it's been awhile and I can't remember a thing.

Yeah, my understanding is that nobody uses that yeast anymore...
Sooooo... You best just ship it up to me and I'll take care of it for you!

Nice try but your Jedi mind tricks won't work on me. I have hops in my veins and am immune.BigPapaG wrote:Yeah, my understanding is that nobody uses that yeast anymore...
