Another gelatin discussion

Post by Beer-lord »

If you have time, and use gelatin, listen to the July 21 Basic Brewing podcast discussing a Brulosopher experiment. There's been lots of discussion over the last year about cloudy East Coast IPA's (personally, I can't believe the discussion on this as it sounds like a political fight at times).
The podcast is here: http://www.basicbrewing.com/index.php?page=radio
Here's the Brulosophy experiment: http://brulosophy.com/2016/06/20/the-ge ... t-results/

I did listen to this podcast the other day and I think it comes down to personal preference. I've never really minded a little haze to my brew as long as it tasted good. With that said I always am quite proud of myself when I brew something that is crystal clear as long as that is what I'm going for.
