I picked up a bomber from a local brewery the other day to try that is part of their single-hop series. Not quite a SMaSH, but it is the same running IPA grain bill across all of them.
This one uses Topaz hops which I've never heard of. The description I found is:
"Australian Topaz Hops have a rich and intense aroma of fleshy citrus and apricot, with a strong "dank" overtone and a hint of sulfur. Very similar to Summit, Apollo, and Columbus, but with a softer citrus edge - also similar to Amarillo."
I'll post my own (not-so-great-pallette) thoughts after I try it, but I'm curious if others have used/had this hop and what your impressions were.
