perlick vs intertap

Have a question on how to keg your beer or just want some tips on bottling! Don't stick a cork in it until you ask the Borg!

perlick vs intertap

Post by bpgreen »

I decided to upgrade my kegerator to a dual tap tower. I replaced the stock tap with a Perlick on my current tower long ago, and was going to get a Perlick for the second tap on my new one, as well. Then I saw an inter tap for significantly less. I did a little searching and there are mixed (but mostly positive reviews) including one here from Natural320. So I decided to go with an intertap for the second tap.

Has anybody else used an intertap?

I'll post back here once I've used it for a while.

I’ve had Perlicks. Right now I have Vent- Matic. I bought them before the machinist who makes them stopped producing them. I just picked up one Intertap. The only reason I bought the Intertap was for the interchangeable heads that allows you to put a stout head on. I love stouts but didn’t want go nitro.
Honestly the Perlicks were great and the Vent-Matic/ Intertaps we’re equally good.

I’ve actually been using my old picnic taps and really like them.
