Bell's house yeast now available.

Post by LouieMacGoo »

Imperial yeast & Bell's Brewery have teamed up to make their house yeast available for sale. This is pretty cool & kinda expensive.

Hmmm, will try this in the fall when it's cool again. But, I wonder if other places online will sell it cheaper. You are getting twice the cell count than other yeast brands and I've absolutely loved every yeast I've gotten from Imperial but it is higher. Of course, if you do like I do and overbuild your starters (though Imperial is made so that you don't really need a starter) you can stretch that $12 very far with many more uses.
I assume it's a year around yeast or at least, I hope so.
