I've seen Ayinger here. The German restaurant behind my LHBS sells it. May have to go give it a try!

This stuff poured really light for an Octoberfest. Almost as light as a pilsner. But the flavor was incredible.

There is a German restaurant on the west side that used to have that stuff in a keg once in a while, I have no clue how they got it... and well... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I like their Wheat beers also......
I've had their Brau-Weisse and was really happy with it.
I tried to brew something close to it but used US-05 last time with the Bavarian Wheat 65/35 DME. Next time I think I will do an AG and use either the Whitelabs 300 or Wyeast 3638.
Has anyone else tried to clone any of the Ayinger beers?

I usually head to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's for a bottle every autumn. Really great example of the style.
