Hi!

Take a minute to introduce yourself to the Borg and tell us what's brewing. You can ask questions here too!

Hi!

Post by ashfault »

Hi! I'm Denise. I'm a new member. I'm brewing hard cider. So far all my batches have been delicious but very fizzy! I need to learn to cut down the carbonation. All that fizz is fun, but what a mess & waste of good cider when it sprays all over. LOL Happy to be part of this forum so I can learn all about this great hobby! And I'm asking about how to get the discount. Thanks so much!

Hi Denise, welcome aboard!
You can find information on the discount in the Member's Only Deals section.
I haven't made cider (except when we were kids) but I have had over and undercarbed brews. Study and practice will improve your results. Keep us posted.

Hello Denise and welcome to the borg. Tell the size bottles you are using and the amount and type of priming sugar and I am sure we can help get that fizz down to where you want it. Bottling to soon before fermented out will also give more carb. then want because not done yet. Happy Brewing. :clink:
