Just finished brew an American Ale hybred.... Not sure if I came up with a winner or another drinkable beer...

I think my adjustments take it out of style, but hopefully bring on flavors etc that I enjoy....

Finally bottling #78 Grand Bohemian Czech Pilsner (done straight up with S-23 lager yeast) and #79 Patriot Lager (done straight up with W-34/70 lager yeast). Only four or five contest extracts to go and I'll be done with extract brewing and back to full-time AG brewing... Image

I bottled the Biere de Garde I frankenbrewed out of the summer seasonal, C-75 and sugar and T-58 fermented on the very cool end and brewed as a 2.5 gallon batch.

It tasted... Biere de Gardey. Could not tell it's 7% abv, it was smooth. Yeah! I think I'll like it.

Helped my brother brew up a batch of BrewDemon's Twisted Monk Witbier as his first batch and the first one for the conical. Smelled great and can hardly wait to drink the stuff.

Let us know how this turns out. I have this on my list to try once I get through a few scheduled brews.

Bottled a fiver of Crown Top Pale Ale Sunday morning. Going to brew a fiver of South Ferry Steam Beer New Year's Day. Throws my brew schedule a little off, but not drastically.

Just brewed an Irish Red on Sat. and moved to secondary last night. Tonight it will be the Holiday Amber Ale and help my son with his root beer in between family games.

I got off to a late start today, but I do have the mash going on my first Kolsch. I've got about 30 minutes left before the sparge.
