They kinda sorta do make a plastic one. They call it the V-Vessel. Not all that cheap. Hard to clean.
The Nong Brewery defines "Fermentation" as: Making "Rot" a Good Thing

Anything in stainless is cool. And it leads to buying more "cool"....

Sweet purchase, beerlord...while you rationalize, they nationalize!
You are now on a brew diet for the month.

Re: I shouldn't but I did anyway
It might be 3 weeks or so before this comes in but I'll definitely post about it and bore everyone with details of its arrival and the first brew in it.

Re: I shouldn't but I did anyway
Just got an email that More Beer will be selling this as well in the future and that the introductory price is now over....the $175 is now $225. Guess I got mine at the right time and the increase will be due to More Beer's involvement. They've always stated that the price was only for a short time and that time is over.

Just in case anyone is interested (at a more expensive price), MoreBeer is taking advanced orders tomorrow.

They sold over 150 of the chronical fermentors in less than 10 minutes on the ss site yesterday...
Re: I shouldn't but I did anyway
I'd love one of the conicals but even the $175 I spent for the bucket was more than I really needed and, there's the space problem for the conical and mostly, keeping it cool. I could only use it for 4-5 months of the year.
I don't see me getting a fridge to keep things cool anytime soon so for now, I'll live my conical life thru you guys who buy them and share your stories.
